Farallon's General Manager Tyler Williams brings considerable experience and an unequaled passion for fine food, wine and dining to one of San Francisco's most acclaimed restaurants. Williams has a special appreciation for the legacy of Farallon and imparts it to his staff and to the restaurant's guests. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Williams has worked in the hospitality industry, beginning in high school, for nearly two decades, 14 of which have been in the Bay Area. He opened Rivoli Restaurant in Berkeley, California with Chef Wendy Brucker and Roscoe Skipper in 1994 and joined the Farallon team in 1999. Drawing upon his experience, Williams has been able to teach and inspire his staff to provide the warm hospitality and elegant service needed to complement Farallon's unique d�cor and sophisticated cuisine. His efforts contribute to a legacy of success that Farallon has enjoyed. The restaurant has been nominated by the James Beard Foundation as one of the best in the country overall and was also chosen one of the best newcomers in the country by national magazines such as Esquire, Bon Appetit and Food & Wine. Recognized for its service in addition to its cuisine and d�cor, Farallon was the highest-rated newcomer in the 1999 Zagat Survey. Williams resides in the East Bay and enjoys hiking, cycling, rollerblading and abalone diving in his free time. |
